If you read this blog’s About page, you’ll know I’m currently studying for my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree at Michigan State University! As a kid, I was certain of my career path, but I never had anyone tell me just how difficult it would be to get to where I am today. Sure, I had people telling me it would be a long road and include lots of loan debt, but that’s all you really hear about.
I know this blog is everything about dogs, but I want to also include bits of my journey through vet school (and some instances before!) so anyone who happens across this blog can know they aren’t going through it alone.
Because that’s exactly how I felt, even with my incredibly supportive family and friends.
