About Peggy and How To Dog

Hello!

I’m so happy you found my dog blog and I want to give you a thorough welcome! You can call me Peggy.

I started this blog because I am intensely passionate about animal care. I have a bachelors degree in Animal Science, a masters degree in Animal Embryology, and am currently attending veterinary school at Michigan State University, which is where I earned my two previous degrees as well. (Go Green!)

I have been shadowing veterinarians and/or working in a veterinary clinic for over nine years now, and have known I wanted to be a veterinarian since I was four! The thing about this field I love the most is that I never stop learning. There is always something being improved in veterinary medicine. That’s where this blog comes in!

Besides covering the basics, I want to squash some myths about tough dog topics, such as grain-free food and healthy dog diets, training, allergies, and so much more. By providing the best and most current information here, my goal is to improve your dog’s life, even if it’s a simple, single, at-home change.

Thank you for joining me on this journey and I appreciate you stopping by!
